autumn - winter - spring
A nature guide with an skilled knowledge of the territory and a native English teacher, will accompany you in this experience. It will be our job, and pleasure, to interpret the natural marvels that we meet along the way, and point out the many cultural, historical and linguistic curiosities.
It seems almost impossible that after only a short walk from Villair, just above Courmayeur, we find ourselves immerged in nature and in the complete silence that is characteristic: ideally close at hand to permit a really special weekend at Rifugio Bertone, situated at 1985m above sea level on the crest that divides Val Sapin from Val Ferret. We are speaking of one of the most beautiful places in the Alps, overlooked by the highest and most famous mountains in Europe, there, only one step away from us: the majestic Mont Blanc.
On arrival at Rifugio Bertone we smell the polenta cooking on the wood stove, but above all we get a glimpse of the manager, Renzino Cosson, “historical” and expert Alpine Guide, one of the most special people you can have the good fortune to meet in the mountains, who with his warm welcome and passion when telling about “his mountains” makes this weekend unique… in English!
