An incredible opportunity to find oneself in front of the giant Alps surrounded by bearded vultures, eagles, Alpine choughs, ptarmigans, ibex, chamois, marmots and thousands of other habitants of the mountains such as the rare ortolan, black grouse and many, many more. A rare possibility to walk with them in the heart of the Gran Paradiso national park, framed by Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn and be spellbound by the colours of spring and the peace of the summits.
Accompanied by an expert ornithologist and Alpine fauna researcher, we will introduce you to the species that live in the Alps. Starting from their home territory and learning to recognize their songs, we‘ll dedicate our time to the discovery and recognition of the species in a way as to never cause disturbance. The days will have intervals of time for cultural and gastronomical encounters with the typical local products and visits to wine cellars and distilleries, rich in tastes and flavours.

Residence “Lo Fleyé”

The Meuble “Lo Fleye” is situated on the sunny hills of Saint Pierre, five minutes from the motor way exit for Aosta Ovest and ten minutes from Aosta, the most important town of the region that is full of interesting monuments and art.
The building, that is new, takes its name from a tool that the farmers of the Aosta valley used for the threshing of cereals. That choice was not by chance: the guests are put directly in contact with nature, history and culture of the Valle d’Aosta. The position dominates the heart of the valley and thanks to the large windows offers an incomparable view of mounts Emilus, Grivola, Ruitor and the relative glaciers, while the castles of Argent, Aymavilles, Sarriod de la Tour and Saint Pierre (home to the Natural History Museum) remind us of the extraordinary history of the region.
On the inside, traditional furnishing goes along with modern bathrooms; the furniture is in wood, following local tradition and every room has a private bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, fridge bar and Wi-Fi and some are equipped for disabled guests.
The buffet breakfast meets again with local traditions, thanks to a rich choice of typical produce in the way of cheese, yogurt, cold meats, honey, fruit and local cow’s milk. Wine, from grappa to genepy is available for guests at the bar. Other meals can be arranged in characteristic restaurants, both nearby and in the main tourist areas of the valley d’Aosta.
